THE TREATMENT
Only disposable needles (sterilized, one-time
use) are used for treatment.
Acupuncture is effective for most functional and internal conditions without
using drugs. It is safe and all natural. All acupuncture needles are single-use disposable needles. They are very fine like
hairs and almost painless. The patient's skin and the practitioner's hands are disinfected before the procedure and
there is absolutely no chance of infection. The number of needles used during the session is usually less than 10. For some
complicated conditions, additional needles may be necessary. Some heat or electric stimulation and/or light manipulation and
acupressure may be added for certain contitions.
Constitutional and 5-element acupuncture techniques are generally
used. They are highly effective with a minimal number of needles. For weight control, ear patches are used. The patches contain
either tiny needles or herb seed and you keep them for about a week or two and stimulate.
If you have structural
problems such as tumor, fracture or dislocation, you need surgical or orthopedic treatment. In this case acupuncture can be
used to speed up healing after surgery by promoting blood flow in the area and thus to strengthen the system. Also acupuncture
is used to reduce side effect of chemotherapy and radiation and to boost immunity.
The Western medical diagnosis
is not so important to us because we have different approaches. We just don't treat symptoms, but treat the root causes
to help heal the body. Even though you doctor says that your condition is very difficult and complicated, sometimes it could
be simple and easy to treat your condition with acupuncture and Oriental medicine. You may avoid taking dangerous drugs and

In general, the effect of acupuncture treatment is immediate. You can have instant relief. But you may need to come
back for follow-up. The necessary number of treatment sessions depends upon individual conditions. In general acute conditions
require a few sessions. Chronic conditions require several or more sessions and maintenance treatment may be recommended.
Stop smoking treatment requires usually 1-2 session(s).
Bulging or herniated disks can be treated effectively
with acupuncture, manipulation and traction technique. Usually you may not need a surgery. It is same as in the case of rotator
cuff injury.
High blood pressure can be effectively treated and controlled with acupuncture and oriental herbal
medicine at the early stage. High cholesterol can be effectively brought down to normal range with herbs fast. Diabetes can be controlled
and maintained with herbs.
Infertility treatment requires several sessions with herbal supplements. Acupuncture
is highly effective for especially unexplained of infertility. Acupuncture and herbal medicine can increase sperm count and
strengthen motility for men. There are over 50% chance of conception in about a month and half after treatment started depending
on the cycles unless there are other complications.
Each acupuncture session takes average 20-30 minutes.
If necessary, we may combine moxibustion, cupping, manipulation and herbal therapy.
